Predictable charts provide a framework for very early sentence construction. The beginning of the sentence is provided by the teacher and the student finds a sentence ending in their communication book or by typing/spelling. There are now prerequisite literacy skills as the student is being encouraged to experience sentence construction in a structured, failsafe way.


Once the student has constructed their sentence the communication partner models a grammatical version of the sentence in a way that avoids any sense of failure on the part of the student.


Our predictable charts are designed to use most of the pages in our Access for All communication book so that the student is learning to navigate to communicate whilst engaging in sentence construction.
